Walking the Path of Kindness | Applied Mindfulness
Open your heart, deepen connections, and enhance well-being
In this four-session series, you will learn how to heal through compassion for yourself and others. By exploring Metta (Loving-Kindness) and similar mantras, and mindfulness practices, you will make self-love a priority, cultivate gratitude, and focus on compassion. These practices will provide an opening of the heart, help to alleviate anxiety, depression, and similar symptoms, and nourish deeper connections with others, and enhance your overall well-being. Sharing and questions are held at the end of the live sessions. Each session includes reflection exercises for you to use at home.
This series will be part of our Metta May which will be incorporated into other classes, daily recordings, in a special month-long program.
Yoga Teachers: Upon completion of course, you are eligible to register for 5 hours of Yoga Alliance Continuing Education.
Deb Phelps is a certified Meditation Teacher and Practitioner since 1980. She is also a Mindfulness Coach, Sound Energy Practitioner, and Yoga Specialist who uniquely assists her clients to overcome stress, anxiety, PTSD, grief, and other life situations so that they can once again live purposeful, joy-filled lives. Deb has overcome significant life challenges aided by a variety of mind-body-spirit practices. By diligently using these tools over many decades, she found a life of contentment and equanimity. Through extensive education and life experience, including living for one year in a spiritual community, she assists and inspires others to do the same.
